falcons to bench harrington...
team close to signing former jacksonville qb byron leftwich, according to ajc.

Whom ever is the brains behind the Falcons, needs his head examined.
The Falcons traded away a quarterback that should have been running their offense for the last five years and Vick should have ben a running back or a wide out.
It would not surpirse me that Matt will leave Texas to a Super Bowl and Atlanta can lick their own ass.
That makes since, lets pick up a quarterback who was cut by the jaguars. I guess he has the style of Vick? How about a new offensive line! remember the QB's that the falcons had got rid of. i think one plays for the Texans and the other the PACKERS? Where is Steve Bartkowski when you need him.
Atlanta wants a black QB, obviously. It puts more butts in the seats since Atlanta caters to the black culture. These people don't want a white guy in charge because it doesn't create the revenue a black QB does. FACT. LSM
I go to three or four falcons games a year and see a good mix of black and white. I also think Byron LEftwich is a good quarterback and why he was cuy by jacksonville is still a mystery to most sports analyst. He has an absolute cannon for an arm and proved in his days at marshall that he will do what it takes to win. In his last bowl game at marshall, he played the second half being carried down the field by his linemen after each completed pass. Vick sat out half a season with a toe injury.

The Atlanta Falcons marketing team has been on the hunt for years to fill the stands with the locals which are more likely to show up to the games because of the fact they are locals. That just happens to be mostly black people. As far as ticket sales go this is a good idea considering the Falcons are a up and down ball team- mostly down unfortunately- and usually with sports teams the locals are more likely to watch a game if the team stinks that year- less travel to watch a potential beatdown of your team. It has nothing to do with prejudice only good marketing.
To 7:18, Get over it. Just because you don't like sports doesn't make every other person a jocksniffer that does enjoy them. Why do you care if someone wants to talk sports? LSM

Cowboys sure are kicken the Bears butts......What is that you say? Falcons???? are they even a professional team. That is the Air Force Academy mascot isnt it?

i told everyone at the beginning of the season, that the falcons should hire dane bishop as there quarterback. we would be undfeated right now
