Who in their right mind would enter a boy in a beauty pageant?

Dane in the over 50 contest

Do you realize how old this Dane business is getting? Would you please start on someone else.

Why stop there?

We should have a beauty contest or talent show for our local officials. I'm thinking things like

Most popular couple at the IDA

Cutest Commissioner

Talented Tax Assessor

Sexiest Councilman

Nicest Newsman

How long until we have Fetal Miss Buggy Days, sonogram required, and Not Less Than Ten Days Dead Miss Buggy Days, coffin optional? The whole thing is a farce.

a young boy's parents, that would put him into a beauty pageant, should be hog tied and woooooooped. you should just go ahead and give him a gay pride flag

is luther going to enter?

My question is, Is Erin Williams judging? And she won't be allowed to count votes or judge the competition for boys if her son is entered, am I correct? I really like Erin, we just need to be sure the contest is fair.

Future Pageants ...Crossdresser Toddler Buggy Days,Crossdresser Tiny Buggy Days,Crossdresser Little Buggy Days?......Is this what our society is coming to?

I think they should put on a B-ville character contest.

Contestant could include...

Luther

Benny Yomp Yomp ?

I think Lootey has passed, bless her heart!

i can see the little boy at about 12 yrs old. look i won the barnesville buggy days padgeant in 2007. the kid will never have a chance. the chances of suicide will have increased 10000%

they need to have a ugly baby contest

i guess if women think they belong in a man's part of the world, then it's about time men started up ending their part. I hope he wins.

8:37 and 9:53 that's funny. WE can sell tickets and hire a plastic firedog to set in front of the fire station or buy some inflatable firemen. Maybe we could get some cardboard deputies to stand beside empty cars out on the road to clean up JB's image. Maybe we can buy some steel balls and issue each of the commissioners a pair. Oh the ideas are endless.

Can a princess enter? I have a sweet little dark-haired princess who melts the heart of anyone who sees her.

Unfortunately she is a girl. Does that disqualify her? Is Buggy Days Queen for boys only now? Durn. I should have dressed my son in pink chiffon instead of my little princess.

Benny YONK YONK has passed as well. Show some respect!!!

What is up with this new trend to say "passed" when someone dies? What's wrong with saying they died? Are we that afraid of death...or is it just the word we're afraid of? I really don't like it. "Passed away" was bad enough, but now we've reduced it to just "passed."

Jesus "passed" for our sins? Give me a break!!!

How 'bout "The day the music 'passed'?"

12:55 Dont forget the "pig on the porch"

Maybe they will change it to a nude beauty contest, so everyone can tell what they are voting for.

Ignorance. Most of you posting are ignorant. Why would someone be gay JUST because he was entered in to a beauty pageant? I guess the King and Prince of prom are gay too. Or are they NOT gay because it was not called a pageant? Barnesville need to come into the real world. There are many pageants that have boys participating in them. If you are ignorant enough to think you son TURNS gay JUST because he is in a pageant, then don’t enter. BUT don’t steal the joy of these other children and parents.

i guess you think it's ok for boys to join the girl scouts and for the girls to join the boy scouts. pageants are for girls period. if that makes me ignorant than so be it.if thats the future and the light of tommorrow than you can have it. we have given up so much in the name of progress than little boys are turning into little sissies. oh in case you are wondering i have 2 girls and 1 boy.

Matthew Stafford lost a beauty pageant when he was little. Then grew up and lost to South Carolina when he was suppose to win the heisman...kind of freaky aint it!

My family attended the pageant this year as we have several years in the past - I think this was the best one yet! It seemed better planned, went smoother and just overall seemed more professional.

Erin, Jan, and the many, many others (sorry I don't know their names) who worked endless hours to put it together. Thank you, you did a great job!

My daughter did not win the pageant this year and she did not place. I can say this, Whom ever did the pageant this year did a really jam-up job. It was done so well. I did not understand why the people behind stage needed to play around on stage while we waited for the results, but hey they looked like they had fun. Can we have this kind of pageant run this way evry year. Who was in charge?

I would like to congratulate Erin on doing a wonderful job with the pageant this year, if only it was managed like this every year. She has worked very hard to promote this pageant and deserves a huge round of applause from the people of Barnesville

i hear that pretty girls only get 1st,2nd,and 3rd runner-up,while the winner of each age group sold the most tickets, or the family is the upity -do folks? whats up with that?

I hate them contesses cause no Blacks girls ever won. You watch at the parade we wont see one Black Princess come down white-alley thomaston st.

Anonymous said...

Maybe we should hold a nigga day beauty contest.I bet we dont let a white girl win that.

Anonymous said...

Maybe more “black” people should participate in the pageant. I only saw 4 maybe 5 in the whole pageant. Why does someone have to turn everything that is good into a racial thing. The ladies that did this pageant don’t care what skin color you have. One of the committee members is black. As far as the upty-do families winning, my child won and we live paycheck to paycheck. Them down “Whit Alley” Thomaston Street don’t hang out with me.
Today is 9-11 lets put our differences aside and lets stand together today. To all that read this God Bless! Pray for our troops!

The pageant is not about black and white or boy and girl. It should be a fun time for all of the contestants. Who cares if a boy was entered--if it wasn't your child, then don't worry about it! As far as having a black princess and going down white alley, Thomaston street--that is just being ignorant. The pageant does not discriminate. What if someone who was in the pageant read these posts? I am sure their feelings would be hurt. If you don't agree--don't go and don't worry about it because I am sure there is something you did or do that some of us don't agree with and we are not sitting here bashing that!

Heck, the generation that is being raised today are going to be just a bunch of spoiled whiney babies who have to be mollycoddled just to have some peace and quiet. Thank God I won't be around when they come of age.
