trojans win at soggy summers field...

19-14 over meadow creek.

lamar, deciding not to just kneel with the ball, fumbled or bobbled the ball on three of its last five and five of its last nine snaps deep in meadow creek territory to give the mustangs new life. the official timer, who failed to start the clock at halftime, made the same mistake twice in the final minute of the game.

the trojans sealed the win with an interception in their own endzone as time expired.

quentin walker (above) was an iron man for lamar much of the night, going both ways despite a lingering wrist or forearm injury.

how much did the city charge the trojans to play on summers field

8:17 If you don't support the Trojans, why are you worried about how much they did or didn't pay to play. The land swap deal is history, get over it.

dear 9:20,
i support the trojans and the school. i just dont support corrupt people like you that will do anything legal or not. its people just like you that give barnesville a bad name and its people like you that try and blame other people that try and fix them for the troubles. its people like you that make me sick. its no wonder the childrem grow up to be criminals because its taught to them by people like you. you are a great role model. just take a look at vick. a product of people like you.

The Trojans better step up their game if they only beat Meadowcreek by 5, or maybe Meadowcreek is turning things around this year.

Anyways, Go Trojans!!!

It's the perfect place if bad politics were conducted here

ive never seen GOOD politics so i guess this is as good a place as any to post.

wonder how long it will be after the walking track/duck pond is built that someone drowns in said pond and the city is hit with a big lawsuit and is forced to turn the whole thing into a parking lot or swap it to Gordon for some Krystal burgers so they can build more housing for students?

oh, and just to be poitically correct here, way to go Trojans, good luck next week

OOOOH and to Josey Wales....I have seen other comments you have posted on this site, You really need to consider seeking some type of professional help. You don't ever have anything positive to say!!!! You are living a very sad life...I don't know you, but I have started to say a special prayer for you. I have also asked God to have mercy on your soul. I am quite sure you won't have anything positive to say about this either, but it is already expected.....

JW From reading some of your earlier posts it sounded like you went to the Academy. If that's the case you would definately know a lot about junior varsity football.

Didnt we start out like this that past few years? Proof is in how well we play in October. For now congrats.

It is very sad when people blog on events that they know very little about. Fire Coach and junior varsity comments, very adult comments (yeah right), I only pray that these two people are young people or young adults. If you were at the game you would have noticed that it rained a ton, but lets not just look at that point of view. These young men that are on the field are 14-18 year old young men, they keep their grades up to play the game, and give up a lot of their own time. The bottom line, if by one or a hundred, the Trojans are 1-0. Go Trojans.
