There is no way that boy to the left (in the picture) is in 7th grade.
Look at the girl with the notes on the palm of her hand.
The one holding her hand up.
We need to buy kids more paper so they don't have to take notes on their palms. That way they can wash without losing their notes.
State school superintendent+brown polka dotted dress= unabridged sexiness, no wonder our test scores are so low, who could possibly concentrate with that hot piece of immaculate scholastical prowess walking around?
I sent her an e-mail on Aug 8 concerning Lamar county students lack of school choices since our school system has once again made the "Needs Improvement" list and am still awaiting an answer. Maybe if she would do her job & not go out on photo shoots, Georgia schools might not rank in the bottom 5 in the country.
Georgia schools in the bottom 5 nationally? I'm shocked.
One would never know that reading this blog or shopping in Barnesville!
Where else would George Bush still be so loved and the Communist Chinese so warmly welcomed than in a state ranking 5th from the bottom in education. Where else would one expect to find a local judge's only qualification be a high school diploma and ability to buy condoms and deliver teenagers a six pack of beer?
Play Missy for Me.
What do you expect from a school superintendent who wanted to take evolution out of the science curriculum. It is no wonder we rank where we do.
Why teach evolution? People haven't evolved that much around here in the past few years. The exception of course acoording to what I read here is someone called Dane, Michael V, and some former Judge in Barnesville. They have all evolved to a higher morality according to blogs here.
This blog is number 1!!!
Once again I'm embarassed about what happened to Michael Vick, because incident like this allow the "Old South" to rear their nasty heads and you see just how racist they really are. I think what Michael did was wrong, but where were all these racists when Libby was exonerated by the president of one of the highest crime against the U.S.? I think you get my point....
it's not the president's or the chinese faults that ga ranks so low... maybe if you lazy ass complaining parents opened you're non seeing eyes you would notice that your child is doing poorly and offer a solution! everyone is quick to blame the teachers (i am not a teacher) they are doing the best they can, but if they aren't getting the help they need on the other side what's the point of teaching your children? it's okay to let your 14 year old walk around looking like she belongs on metropolitan parkway in atlanta, it's okay that your son is smoking weed, drinking, and running around with his pants down to his ankles flashing a gun at everyone he sees... but the minute the teacher wants your help on something you turn the other cheek and take up for your child! some parents you are... quite blaming the teachers for the crappy job you are doing at people a parent, if any thing you are the ones who need to grow up!
if all parents had to send all their kids to public school instead of sending the rich kids to private schools; then the rich educated parents would have a fit about the sad state of education in public schools....then the pay would increase for teachers.....would get better public schools and problem would be solved.....as long as there are private schools; the educated vocal parents will not raise their voices.....they dont care as long as their kids dont have to go to public schools........stop private schools and the scores of public schools increase and the poorer kid will start learning more.....private schools were born in the 50s and 60s because whites dont want their kids to associate with the blacks........liberleft
That is probably the worst excuse for public school decline I have ever read.
Give the parents free reign on where they want to send their kids for the education that they pay for through taxes.
SCHOOL CHOICE!
This would put an end to the racial divide you see holding the public schools down, even if it is imaginary.
Teachers Unions, Sorry Parents, and no competition for your tax dollars are a losing formula for public schools.
Why would you want to punish parents who care about their child's education so much that they pay school taxes for their county AND pay tuition just to ensure their child has a better chance at life?
Wealth envy only ensures you will never be wealthy.
