the only citizens in attendance were robert warren, who has followed the budget process closely, and yours truly.
a second hearing to receive input from the public is set for tonight at 6 p.m.

The reason NOBODY shows is because they are all WORKING at that time!! Why not have these meetings in the evenings so some working to pay high taxes can actually get to them??

There is another meeting tonite at 6pm.
no one goes because they know it doesnt matter what you say.....they already made their mind up.....they aint gonna listen to the poor common taxpayers....they gonna listen to their big rich friends
Why bother? you can protest all you want they are still gonna screw you. Taxpayers are always gonna have to pay for all the lazy good for nothings of this world. It seems that property owners are going to pay for all the iligitmate
half breeds and scum of lamar co. to go to school.
