The problem isn't because this person is black or how he looks.
The problem is because the culture children are growing up in. Much of the problem are the people who feed these kids violence. The rappers and hip hoppers who make it cool to kill. The old drunk white males who abuse women also set a bad example.
There are quite a few yougsters of ALL races who think mistreating women or using guns to scare people makes them a big man. There are even some good old boy southern white men who abuse dogs and degrade women and abuse children, they are just as bad as this punk even though they are white as can be.
We have a real social problem and a good bit of it is rooted in guns drugs and alcohol and it affects all ages and colors.
There are plenty of white people who should be removed from society too.
I would like to replace that "bling bling" necklace with a noose. Then watch his crackhead pop off like top on soda pop when they let him fall. Just an idea.Would be pretty cool thing at Buggy Days,set up a booth,sell tickets..........
Very simple. Give him a fair trial by a jury of 12.
Playing Devil's advocate here; the only way that I can see getting him off the hook is:
1. if he had knowledge that his life or a family member's life were in danger unless he acted right then at that moment with that force. For example, there was a hostage situation and the other guys where going to kill his child right then.
2. if he was up against a large network of Mafia types and he was severely outnumbered and it came out that he had to act with that kind of force for some reason.
Seriously though, I doubt that it was like any of the two mentioned scenarios above.
If this was some kind of petty gang activity, then the punishment should be severe. He risked the lives of others shooting like a nut in a college setting.

I totally disagree with you on the gun ban. 100% disagree. I want my weapon handy in case a nut like that tries to shoot at my house. The people must have a way to defend themselves, their family and their property.
If you want to ban guns, I would argue that you should ban cars, swimming pools, power tools, kitchen knives, scissors and anything else that could kill someone by accident or as a weapon.
A hand gun is an awesome and beautiful thing. A 115 lb woman armed with a 9 mm or 45 cal pistol with 10 to 15 in the clip and another 3 to 4 clips handy is more powerful than the line up of any NFL football team. Hence, my wife has the ability to defend herself and our kids from the scum of the earth while out in public.

When I was just 5 or 6 months old, a would be rapist was cutting his way through the screen porch to get to my mama.
My daddy wasn't there, but his 45 cal was. My mama sat in the floor and put me at her side.
All she had to do was point and wait for the scum to come through the window.
Once on the porch and while cutting through the screen on the window, he saw what was welcoming him on the other side and decided it was more prudent to leave.
Mama got a good description of him to the police. The police told her that he matched the description of a serial rapist and that she should've killed the 3@$7@4D.

I don't own a pistol. Never have. I'm now in my sixties and have never had an occasion when I needed to pull one on some one else. And thankfully, those times I did get angry at someone and wanted to pull one, I didn't have access to one. No use going to jail just because I got a little angry at somebody. If there not available, you can't get in trouble. And really, how many of you gun lovers have actually pulled a gun on someone in self defense? This isn't the old west. Vigilanteism is against the law for good reason. There's not too many crooks that a good alarm system won't scare off. And besides that, where do you think outlaws get their guns? They steal them from nice folks like you. Now back to the question, if that young man is guilty of using a gun during the commission of a crime, I think he should get life in prison at least. Anyone using a gun illegally should get life in prison. Black or white or hispanic. If you carry a gun, then you INTEND to harm some one else.
My hats off to Gordon PD and the Investigators from Barnesville PD. A job Well Done!!! While Barnesville was asleep these officers worked around the clock to capture the shooter to help make Barnesville a safer place for all!!!! When this inividaul goes to court, lets all fill the court room to show our support for our community and let the crooks and thugs know that we as a community will not tolerate this type of behavior. The Color of Crime by Patrick J. Buchanan
The execution-style murder of three African-American college students in Newark, N.J., forced to kneel and shot in the head -- allegedly by an illegal alien from Peru who was out on bail for the serial rape of a 5-year-old -- has the makings of a Willie Horton issue in 2008.
Newark, like New York, is a "sanctuary city," where cops are not to ask criminal suspects if they are in the country legally. Mitt Romney has been hammering Rudy Giuliani on the issue, trashing his tough-cop resume by painting the mayor as den mother of the Big Apple's playpen for illegal aliens.
The arrest of Jose Carranza in that Newark massacre, amid reports he had Hispanic accomplices and the murders may have been part of a gang initiation, has also elevated the issue of the black-brown war raging in U.S. big cities.
In the Aug. 10 Washington Post story that covered the Carranza arrest, the same page had two related articles. One was headlined, "Study: Almost Half of Murder Victims Black," the other, "Slaying of Popular Editor Stuns Blacks in Oakland."
The second headline reveals an ideological slant. One would assume that everyone in Oakland was stunned by the daylight execution of African-American editor Chauncey Bailey, allegedly by a teenage foot soldier at Your Black Muslim Bakery, which Bailey was investigating.
At Bailey's funeral, a mourner held up a sign reading, "Stop Black on Black Violence." That was the subject of the second Post story.
"Nearly half the people murdered in the United States are black," declared the opening paragraph, "part of a persistent pattern in which African Americans are disproportionately victimized by violent crime, according to a new Justice Department study."
Among other conclusions reported by the Post:
-- Blacks are more likely than whites or Hispanics to be victims of crime.
-- Blacks are more likely than any other group to be victims of "serious violent crime," such as rape, assault and robbery.
-- Blacks were more than twice as likely as whites to be confronted with a firearm during a crime.
"Overall, the new Justice findings jibe with previous studies," said the Post. "For example, a review of FBI data from 2004 by the Violence Policy Center, a liberal-leaning group that campaigns for stricter gun control laws, found that blacks accounted for about half of the nation's murder victims that year."
"Black victimization is a real problem, and it's often black on black," said David Harris, a law professor at the University of Toledo who studies crime statistics.
"Often"? Correction, Harris. As the Post reports and Justice concedes, in more than nine out of 10 cases, black victims are murdered by fellow blacks.
Utterly absent from the Post story and Justice Department stats is anything about white victims of crime. Not a word. Do white folks not count, though they are two-thirds of the population?
Yet, in "The Color of Crime: Race, Crime and Justice in America," produced by the "right-leaning" New Century Foundation in 2005, using the same FBI and Justice surveys, startling facts emerge:
-- "Blacks commit more violent crime against whites than against other blacks." Forty-five percent of the victims of violent crime by blacks are white folks, 43 percent are black, 10 percent are Hispanic.
-- Blacks are seven times as likely as people of other races to commit murder, eight times more likely to commit robbery and three times more likely to use a gun in a crime.
-- "Blacks are an estimated 39 times more likely to commit violent crime against a white person than vice versa, and 136 times more likely to commit robbery." (If decent black folks have trouble hailing a cab, and they do, these numbers may help explain it.)
-- Black-on-white rape is 115 times more common than the reverse.
Even the two most famous sexual assaults by white men on black women in the last two decades -- the Tawana Brawley and Duke rape cases -- turned out to be hoaxes.
What do these statistics tell us? A message the Post will not report. The real repository of racism in America -- manifest in violent interracial assault, rape and murder -- is to be found not in the white community, but the African-American community. In almost all interracial attacks, whites are the victims, not the victimizers.
Why does the Post not report such statistics? My guess: Because the stats would shatter the Post's cultivated image of America as a land where white racism is the great lurking malevolent monster. Stories that conform to the image get play. Stories that contradict it are buried.
But, if the Bush Justice Department is doing in-depth studies on black victims of crime and who is responsible, why not one on the victimization of Americans of all colors and who is responsible?
On the issue of guns, As far as I know the US is one of few nations that allow there people to have guns, Nations that ban guns from the people I believe do it to maintain their total control over those within that Country. I think it would be easy to subdue people within a nation that is unarmed. If the US calls for a gun ban I think you can assume what's next.
Where is Kate Court? It appears that alot of things have happened on that street recently that has required Police intervention. Playing Devil's advocate here; the only way that I can see getting him off the hook is:
1. if he had knowledge that his life or a family member's life were in danger unless he acted right then at that moment with that force. For example, there was a hostage situation and the other guys where going to kill his child right then.
2. if he was up against a large network of Mafia types and he was severely outnumbered and it came out that he had to act with that kind of force for some reason.
Seriously though, I doubt that it was like any of the two mentioned scenarios above.
If this was some kind of petty gang activity, then the punishment should be severe. He risked the lives of others shooting like a nut in a college setting.

I totally disagree with you on the gun ban. 100% disagree. I want my weapon handy in case a nut like that tries to shoot at my house. The people must have a way to defend themselves, their family and their property.
If you want to ban guns, I would argue that you should ban cars, swimming pools, power tools, kitchen knives, scissors and anything else that could kill someone by accident or as a weapon.
A hand gun is an awesome and beautiful thing. A 115 lb woman armed with a 9 mm or 45 cal pistol with 10 to 15 in the clip and another 3 to 4 clips handy is more powerful than the line up of any NFL football team. I don't own a pistol. Never have. I'm now in my sixties and have never had an occasion when I needed to pull one on some one else. And thankfully, those times I did get angry at someone and wanted to pull one, I didn't have access to one. No use going to jail just because I got a little angry at somebody. If there not available, you can't get in trouble.

The execution-style murder of three African-American college students in Newark, N.J., forced to kneel and shot in the head -- allegedly by an illegal alien from Peru who was out on bail for the serial rape of a 5-year-old -- has the makings of a Willie Horton issue in 2008.
Newark, like New York, is a "sanctuary city," where cops are not to ask criminal suspects if they are in the country legally. Mitt Romney has been hammering Rudy Giuliani on the issue, trashing his tough-cop resume by painting the mayor as den mother of the Big Apple's playpen for illegal aliens.
The arrest of Jose Carranza in that Newark massacre, amid reports he had Hispanic accomplices and the murders may have been part of a gang initiation, has also elevated the issue of the black-brown war raging in U.S. big cities.
In the Aug. 10 Washington Post story that covered the Carranza arrest, the same page had two related articles. One was headlined, "Study: Almost Half of Murder Victims Black," the other, "Slaying of Popular Editor Stuns Blacks in Oakland."
The second headline reveals an ideological slant. One would assume that everyone in Oakland was stunned by the daylight execution of African-American editor Chauncey Bailey, allegedly by a teenage foot soldier at Your Black Muslim Bakery, which Bailey was investigating.
At Bailey's funeral, a mourner held up a sign reading, "Stop Black on Black Violence." That was the subject of the second Post story.
"Nearly half the people murdered in the United States are black," declared the opening paragraph, "part of a persistent pattern in which African Americans are disproportionately victimized by violent crime, according to a new Justice Department study."
Among other conclusions reported by the Post:
-- Blacks are more likely than whites or Hispanics to be victims of crime.
-- Blacks are more likely than any other group to be victims of "serious violent crime," such as rape, assault and robbery.
-- Blacks were more than twice as likely as whites to be confronted with a firearm during a crime.
"Overall, the new Justice findings jibe with previous studies," said the Post. "For example, a review of FBI data from 2004 by the Violence Policy Center, a liberal-leaning group that campaigns for stricter gun control laws, found that blacks accounted for about half of the nation's murder victims that year."
"Black victimization is a real problem, and it's often black on black," said David Harris, a law professor at the University of Toledo who studies crime statistics.
"Often"? Correction, Harris. As the Post reports and Justice concedes, in more than nine out of 10 cases, black victims are murdered by fellow blacks.
Utterly absent from the Post story and Justice Department stats is anything about white victims of crime. Not a word. Do white folks not count, though they are two-thirds of the population?
Yet, in "The Color of Crime: Race, Crime and Justice in America," produced by the "right-leaning" New Century Foundation in 2005, using the same FBI and Justice surveys, startling facts emerge:
-- "Blacks commit more violent crime against whites than against other blacks." Forty-five percent of the victims of violent crime by blacks are white folks, 43 percent are black, 10 percent are Hispanic.
-- Blacks are seven times as likely as people of other races to commit murder, eight times more likely to commit robbery and three times more likely to use a gun in a crime.
-- "Blacks are an estimated 39 times more likely to commit violent crime against a white person than vice versa, and 136 times more likely to commit robbery." (If decent black folks have trouble hailing a cab, and they do, these numbers may help explain it.)
-- Black-on-white rape is 115 times more common than the reverse.
Even the two most famous sexual assaults by white men on black women in the last two decades -- the Tawana Brawley and Duke rape cases -- turned out to be hoaxes.
What do these statistics tell us? A message the Post will not report. The real repository of racism in America -- manifest in violent interracial assault, rape and murder -- is to be found not in the white community, but the African-American community. In almost all interracial attacks, whites are the victims, not the victimizers.
Why does the Post not report such statistics? My guess: Because the stats would shatter the Post's cultivated image of America as a land where white racism is the great lurking malevolent monster. Stories that conform to the image get play. Stories that contradict it are buried.
But, if the Bush Justice Department is doing in-depth studies on black victims of crime and who is responsible, why not one on the victimization of Americans of all colors and who is responsible?
On the issue of guns, As far as I know the US is one of few nations that allow there people to have
guns, Nations that ban guns from the people I believe do it to maintain their total control over those within that Country. I think it would be easy to subdue people within a nation that is unarmed. If the US calls for a gun ban I think you can assume what's next.
