leonora ginn has qualified to run for barnesville city...
council.
she will seek to wrest her old ward 1 seat away from anne claxton.
Miss Ginn is an outstanding Barnesville citizen! She CARES about Barnesville, and it's people.She should be elected "citizen of the year"! She works hard to make Barnesville a great place to live. Good Luck Miss Ginn....I hope you win!
Between Ginn and Georgia Fletcher, I don't know who would be more senile...Amazing to me that someone would think that they are qualified to hold these positions.
I think Ms. Ginn just needs to sit down and let Barnesville grow. I seen in the past when ever she was on the city council that nothing ever happened as far a new businesses. All she wants to do is get in everyones business. Barnesville needs to grow I just want someone on the council that will allow that to happen.
If Lenora Ginn wins, will the naysayers, who say they will leave Barnesville, if she wins, will leave as promised. I doubt it. They probably will lose their rent subsidy if they do. Also, their mentality is like the hollywood lizards, who were going to leave, if George Bush Won. They are still here.

Can anyone name something meaningful that the city council has done recently? Who cares? It is nothing more than a hobby for housewives and ex-governmental employees on a power trip.
I officialy apply for grammar editor of the barnesville blog. Where the hell have my tax dollars been going? Does LCCHS not teach english? I know some of you can't afford private school and have to settle for the tax funded government provided version..... but damn! Is that school anymore than a government funded babysitter? Do they have books?
It's amazing that the true things about Ann Claxton are deleted while negative things about others are allowed to remain.... What's the problem, Scoop?
I support Lenora Ginn, because she is a doer. Everyone may not like what she does, but she is a doer. Anne Claxton to me is a person who is around for show. All you have to do is bring a camera, and Anne is smiling. My opinion is she is a doer for herself and nobody else.
What are you talking about - Ann jumps from job to job? You're full of it. She has lots of experience in many areas which serves her well on the city council. I understand the patients at Heritage Inn are loving her working there as a nurse. Look at downtown Barnesville. She helped revitalize it with the Jewelry Store and by buying up real estate downtown. We're fortunate to have her energy and dedication to the city.

You obviously have not been to any council meetings...Anne Claxton is the ONLY elected doer in the building.
Check it out for yourself sometime if you're so concerned about city politics.
