Walter, just read about City's appointment to Election Board and the "meeting" of the Board tonight. Please let me clear up any misunderstanding concerning the "Board" meeting. The members to the Board received a letter from me inviting them to the L&A Testing of the touch screen machines to be used in the upcoming Special Election. The notice of testing did appear in the Herald Gazette last week and has been posted at the Court House, as the law requires us to do. This was open to the public as it always is, and I was very glad to have three of the new Board members attend. I have asked them to be with us as much as possible in planning these next two special elections, so they will have some understanding of the work they will be performing. Hope this clears up any misunderstanding concerning the "Election Board Meeting".
