bypass scheduled to open tomorrow...
but as of this afternoon, no striping had been done on the new roadway.
additionally, it has been confirmed that local governments do not have the authority to name state highways.

I really want to know, you see, I can believe that you had 8800 unique visitors last month because the other site had almost 12000.
What is impossible to believe though is that every one of your visitors 'hit' 40 pages while they were on barnesville.com. That is total BS!
There aren't 40 pages there for anyone to hit!
One of two things has happened here:
1- You made an error in interpreting your site statistics.
2- You intentionally misled your print newspaper subscribers.
Only you know the truth, Scoopy.
It makes a huge difference because the online community is intelligent enough to understand BS when they read it.
As someone who visits 'other' local websites, I find it amusing that you apparently believe we're all that stupid.
That's all I can say because I'm sure I'll be removed anyway...

my money is on scoop, i saw him tear into a salad the other day at milanos. that damn salad didnt have a chance so im sure he could whip gregs ass. greg aint as tough as a salad is he?
I was of the impression, based on the bragging by the DOT folk, that the old 41 Hwy would stay in place. Looks like they done dug it up, so the by pass will become a choke point. REAL SMART

I have just learned that Barnesville has a Martin Luther King Road.
It does not make much sense to name a new road the same name.

i agree. there is no turn lane north 41 onto bypass. gone be some ass busters there.
