Oh, I thought it was a nerd convention.
I didnt know curry was used as a female name.

I would like to know that myself. I had a great time out there Sat.
No, this is the very best site in Barnesville.

what a great time. good job cathy, kim, and terena
Yes, outstanding job ladies.I think we need to consider more often than 10 years. That would mean I probably only have 3 more reunions left in me.
Just a bunch of rich racist kids grown up.
A great time! Thanks to all that worked hard to put this together. It was great to catch up with everyone. Would love to have this every five years if possible.
Come to think of it we were all white, how bout that! Maybe that's why nobody ever was shot or stabbed at any of our functions!
oh my god lets not turn this into a racial thing. you all know that the other side has no chance. do you think that for one moment they would compare avg sat scores from those years. heeelllll no
When grossly nasty blogs appear it is almost always from someone who wants to ruin the blog or start a big fight. Nasty foul comments are a good way to drive off users of this blog. They want people to get mad and go away. That way they have power over others. The best practice is to not respond to people who are playing immature games.
To the conveniently anonymous poster from 5:10, Blasphemy! Yes we had caviare with poached lobster in clarified butter with gnocchi and green pea sauce for lunch and high tea on the playground was not an uncommon sight, but to be fair, we always car-pooled in our limousines. Racist? HAH! We paid the fine African-American gentlemen who taught us how to breakdance very well. Your comment is absurd!
annon 6:21 will you please go away you sour puss i'm sure opra is on tv somewhere plop your fat butt on the couch and start stuffing potato chips in your mouth anything just go away
7:43 thats great!!ya gotta love it
BTW, these types of people are the one who run this country.
who else could run the country, ga public high school graduates.
Hey Scoop!
That is Beth Bankston Turner, not Beth Turner May.
my bad. thanks.
I am sure that receiving a government education versus a private education didn't factor into the decision of the rich, racist parents either. The Lamar Co. public school system is indeed a beacon of learning and a haven for scholars around the world.
hahaha
what do beacon, haven, scholar's and the word "the" mean?
Oh you poor soul. You have obviously been failed by the system in which you were forced by the rich, racist people who reside in Barnesville. Not to mention all of the leaders of the country and the world that graduated from The Academy that was referred to in a post earlier. Lets look at a list of your oppressors:
Dick Cheney; Class of '59, Captain of the biathalon team.
Tony Blair; Class of '62, here on a rotary scholarship, secretary of the Glee Club.
Alvaro Uribe; Class of '63; excelled in chemistry
Warren Buffut; Class of '48; president of the entrepreneurship club.
I could go on for days listing the great leaders that have been educated at The Academy and who have in turn kept you from getting the education you deserve. Please take yourself to your local library immediately, they have "books" and within these "books" resides a "dictionary", please find one as soon as possible. Godspeed you on your journey of learning.
I heard of a President of the United States once that asked what the meaning of "is" is. Did he graduate from The Academy? I don't think he knew the meaning of "sex" either.
what does (my bad) mean?
i thought dick chaney was the captain of the shooting club at the "academy"
Biathalon= a sport consisting of cross country skiing in combination with the use of the rifle. He was a two sport athlete. He also lettered in the pole vault. We were so rich at The Academy that we had our own cross country ski course which incorporated our own weather controlling device, which was actually the same device that George Bush used to create Hurricane Katrina to attack the 9th Ward in conjunction with Condoleezza Rice free diving to the bottom of the levees and planting C-4 explosives.
Dr. von richandpowerful,
You sound like a bank president or Dane Bishop. He went to the academy too.

Rich...? What a laugh. Racist...? As one that was the recipient of the desegregation "plan" the BOE came up with back in the early 1970's, I can tell you BA was a gift from God. Whatever genius decided it was a good idea to segregate by gender instead of race mixed up the perfect recipe for riots, and that's just what they got.
Between the riots, the abusive African American "teachers", the feces and urine soaked bathrooms at Booker school, there was very little chance for learning to occur.
Does anyone else remember that female gorilla, Mrs Jullian and her cut section of commercial truck she dished out punishment with?
I will never forget the State Police in riot gear, and National Guard 6x6 trucks arriving with troops to quell the rioting. Only went to "school" 28 days my 5th grade year, but someone managed to make straight A's for the first and last time of my entire school career. That was more than enough for my parents to search for an escape.
Anyone else around to witness the line of riflemen on top of the old fire station building in 1973 when our African American citizens declared they would "burn Barnesville"? The thought of being on the receiving end of a 30.06 hollow point cooled those thoughts right down. I learned the true meaning of the Second Amendment watching that.
Hosea Williams and his entourage drove down from Atlanta to participate, but were met on Hwy 36. I understand the number of guns in the welcoming party encouraged ole Hosea to return to more friendly pastures around Atlanta.
If you have some free time one day, spend some time down at the library reading the issues of the Gazette from the early 1970's on microfiche.
Makes for a fascinating local history lesson you can be sure won't be taught at the Lamar County schools any time soon! Maybe our host Scoop could reprint some of those issues for sale? Don't expect that to happen anytime soon either! LOL!
Yeah, fine law abbiding citizens those blacks. They always know how to turn a frown upside down.
