thats great, but why doesn't anyone complain about our tax dollars being spent there. i'm all for it as well as the local public school system
because our tax dollars aren't spent there.
you have lost your mind. if it's not the tax payers of the state of ga then where does the money come from.
Go Dr. Weill! You have done alot for Gordon and this community. Keep up the good work. I could only hope my tax dollars were be spent on this.
little boy ----
Gordon College is about the only thing going for Barnsville. Let's keep improving on it.
Come on now. Surely you know that higher learning (college) is not the same as state schools. That's why you pay for everything, including classes, as you go. You have to be about the only person that thinks college is funded by the tax payers. No, I haven't lost my mind and that's why I'm telling you that your mind is a bad thing to waste. Maybe you should go back to school.
I agree with anon 9:53, Gordon is about all Barnesville has going for it. You had better keep it up.
o k you are telling me with all the money the colleges collect from students pays for all the upkeep and new buildings and sports activities. you need to go back to school. only an estimate 2000 students at $3000 a student that = 6 million there is no way the school can pay teachers, staff, maint, etc and build $10,000,000 buildings at the same time do the math. oh yea about that tuition hope and grants is the majority. now whomneeds to go back to school. i'm all for the college, just don't think that your tax dollars are not supporting it in one way or another
I hope my tax dollars are supporting Gordon College. Not much else here worth supporting???
55% of the University of Georgia college system's annual budget is paid for with federal & state taxes.
NOT THE SAME KIND OF TAXES AS THOSE TAXES USED FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION. SEARCH THE B.O.R. AND THE GA BUDGET FOR EXPLANATIONS. ALL YALL NEED TO GO BACK FOR SOME HIGHER LEARNING. MAKE SURE YOU TELL THE ADMIN OFFICE YOU ARE A TAXPAYER AND THAT YOU DON"T HAVE TO PAY TO ATTEND. YOU'LL GET SOME IMMEDIATE PRE COLLEGE EDUCATION WHEN YOU SAY IT.
YOU PAY LESS AS A STATE RESIDENT THAN AN OUT OF STATE RESIDENT - BUT YOU STILL GOING TO PAY. PS, YOU GOING TO BUY YOUR OWN BOOKS TOO UNLESS YOU LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE A TAXPAYER. OMG - THAT DON'T WORK EITHER.
HOPE - IS A GOOD DEAL.
you are just upset because you thought you were right, and told another to go back to school. taxes are taxes. the lottery is a tax on the stupid. this pays for hope. just remember think before you type.
Sorry 9:17 I forgot I was addressing the Otto the All Seeing. I'm not mad and I refuse to argue with an idiot.
i'm an idiot, lets see you don't know what you are talking about there for anyone that is of a different opinion than yours no matter how wrong you are is a idiot. than i'm guilty as charged, anyone that is right is an idiot. must be new slang for right.
Gordon has a hell of alot more than 2000 students. They had 4500 MORE students than ever the year I started gordon (2003).
