three injured in crash on four-lane...



henry brown of milner was loaded onto a lifeflight chopper for transport to grady hospital after a 7:50 p.m accident at the intersection of old zebulon road and highway 19/41 in milner. brown is four days shy of his 71st birthday.

brown was driving southbound on the four-lane in a 1972 ford f-100 that struck a 1997 ford f-150 that was crossing 19/41 east to west on old zebulon road. the f-150 was driven by 21-year-old michael lamar fuller of griffin, according to trooper russ clarke of the gsp.

clarke said indications are fuller failed to yield right of way.

fuller was unhurt. both brown and fuller had passengers in their vehicles who were injured and transported to area hospitals by ambulance. identities of those victims were not immediately available.

brown had fishing equipment in the bed of his pickup and may have been returning from a fishing trip.
