thomaston man to seek crawford's house seat...

jim fletcher, president of pasley-fletcher funeral home, says he will run as a republican though the race is nonpartisan.

crawford is resigning his post effective august 1. governor sonny perdue will schedule the nonpartisan vote to fill crawford's unexpired term within 45 days of the resignation.

lamar voters are already headed to the polls september 18 to cast ballots in the school system splost renewal vote.

anybody know mr. fletcher?
