Yes. The current mayor and governor have no business being in either position. It would be nice to see someone with some intelligence hold office for once.
He could never win as governor because the business community would lobby heavy against him and donate heavily to his opponent.
i think that Clark would give the government back to the people. i would vote for him.
POWP
He has my vote. Good luck to any oponnent that tries to find some dirt on him. Also, his fiscal and social knowledge far outweighs any politician on the scene today. He would be a breath of fresh air and a real change from the ilk that is the dem vs rep political background. To have a politician that understands you can't spend more than you have is unheard of these days.
I have found alot of information that Clark has put out, to be incorrect, especially when it deals with finances. So He would probably make a good politician. Alot of BS and Gun Smoke, and nothing.
You are just a hater, he takes phone calls and shoots from the hip most of the time and has a very good track record of being right on the money, some people just don't understand he is giving HIS opinion most of the time and different cicumstances call for different actions, could you give advice like he does daily and acurately? You won't stay on air too long if your not any good and wrong all the time! Get real.
I was considering a run at governor too. Gues who!
what a joke. it would do clark more good to be an elected official and try to run government. he would be lost and never even realize it until his term was up.
me thinks the next great governor of ga is going to be Sen. Johnny Isakson (R)
WRITE IT DOWN AND REMEMBER YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST ON THIS BLOG.
AND OH YEA, SONNY WILL BE THE NEXT U.S. SENATOR FROM GA. (HE & JOHNNY WILL SWITCH ROLLS)
I hope he wins. Then we will be able to see if Scram is a man of his word.
The fact that we have so called Consumer Guru's as Clark Howard is an indictment of our public school system.
His efforts are living proof that our public schools are a failure!!!!
Much his advise is sophomoric and should be known by any half-educated citizen.
Just visit any McDonalds, Hardees or Government Office and you will witness the failure of our public educational system, thus so-called Guru's like Clark Howard have found a niche to make an excellent living.
Government education by proxy!!!!
I don't know if he would win but I do know one thing for sure. Some people will cheer and other will whine and either the cheerers or whiners will come out on top at the end. And the people in Bville will gripe about it all.
i am not really sure i would want a tight wad with money running my city or state! he has some good tactics to save money don't get me wrong, but half the stuff he says you must do is either too much of hassle or just plain stupid. I did take his advice and buy disposable razors to shave my legs though!
If Atlanta votes in a white mayor, old Maynard Jackson will roll over in his grave.
a tightwas is exactly what a government should be. Maybe if more followed suit, america wouldn't be bankrupt. I listen to him on a regular basis. And yes, most of the information he gives out is, or should be, common sense. However, our current state (and federal) government is and has been a vaccum when it comes to common sense.
Clark supports the idea of voucher programs in gov. schools so he must have gotten some kind of sense from his PUBLIC INFESTATION -oh sorry- I meant Education. He also supports the FAIRTAX PLAN and any Governing official that takes up this idea is a step in the right direction for America. If you stand against the largest waste of tax money (Public Education without competition) and the most complicated way to collect taxes from anyone willing to work hard and make something of themselves (The current American Tax System, I hope me saying "American Tax System" isn't reason to be taxed extra, don't know, neither does the American Tax System- damn did it again! Watch out Willie the IRS yard sale is gonna be at my house this time.
Seriously, whose got enough sense -N -DA -ATL to vote for him anyway?
Rev. MJB
Puttin da smack down on dees dirty south hoes- got gol' teef and my finga in my MF'N nose- Catch ya slippin in my hood gonna haff da pull da trigga- A moment of silence cuz dey burried da word Nigga- VOTE FO' HIRRY CLINSTON 08- Skrate from da Atl- Do ya know my daddy?- PEACE B*TCHES
you better hope people dont find out who rev mjb is..
How crase and inbred the 12:31 p.m. comment is. I don't feel clark howard could do much more to mess up the screwed up gov't system than it already is.Yeah I would vote for him just to get the sorry mayor that is in office now out. Take back the country for those who are willing to work for an honest days pay.
you better hope he don't find out who anon 342 is, the rev is a black belt in truth i would vote for Clark if given the chance
BOREING!!!!!!!
You got a good point carl but clark may be to much of a weeney, He may fold on un popular but important issues. like gun rites and personal privacy, And how does he stand on taxes? I like his show but i also like neal boortz show. Dont mean i will vote for them.
And oh yes before i forget I know the rev mjb. Hes a POWP.(GLAD YOURE ONE OF US) Some day when they leard POWP will return.
I don't think he will fold. I know he endorses the fair tax, which is a federal tax plan and wouldn't have much pull in a bid for governor. As far as personal property and gun rights, he aligns himself more closely with the libertarian party which tends to be the strongest proponents for personal property rights and the second amendment.
He also likes the idea of school voucher programs which will help him out, I'm at the point where I would vote for ALMOST anyone who supports the FAIRTAX, regardless of party. ALMOST anyone!
RevMJB
Verry good points gentelmen and i do claim to be a libertarian, I will give this moore research.
hey gill, i didnt know if anyone else remembered POWP or not, i jsut been signing with it in hopes of finding another.
POWP
OK good deal but dont go anonymous. pic screen name i can respond to.
There will never be another white person, male or female, elected as mayor in Atlanta. Howard has NO chance whatsoever of being successful for that simple reason.
Look at what was elected as Fulton County sheriff. Can't even form a complete sentence and his jail is under Federal oversight.
They had a former FBI agent running for the office as well, but he was the wrong color/hair type.
Won't even mention what Clayton County put in office as sheriff. Check out the gold stars he has put on his uniform next time on TV. "General Bling" I suppose.
