yesterday. this open air market was located at the intersection of parkview drive and 12th street in barnesville.
surveillance was run by sgt. al moltrum of the bpd and assistant commander alan mcwhorter of the narcotics task force.
one alleged seller was busted and one is on the run.
other eight arests were of alleged customers.

Atleast they weren't stealing the purses of funeral attendants.
The thugs that stole the purses were doing so to buy drugs from the likes of the thugs that were busted.
Both acts are just as bad as the next; they all feed of each other and are interdependent.

good to see that they didnt bust both of the thugs.....had time to bust 8 buyers but couldnt catch the two sellers......had to leave one so they could catch more buyers next week.

It makes no sense to arrest the smaller people because more will appear at the end of the day. The sorry @ss judicial system,sherrifs and police officers need to do a better job of watching their own. It's a well known fact that there have been sherrifs, judges and lawyers in Lamar Co that played a part in bringing drugs here as well. How much time did they get and what color were they? The police department and sherrifs are a joke. No, i'm not a racist but i've personally seen them ask for registration and license from every black person that came through a road block but all the whites that I saw were just waved through. In the words of the great Public Enemy..911 is a joke in this town

Can you back up anything you just said with facts or is it something you want to believe. I find it funny that people who get caught always try to blame it on others. I think that if you dont do wrong then you should worry about being caught.
You know all the little people lead to the bigger people. And what do you expect the police or SO to do when you have peple that live in these drug infested communities complaining. They do there job and try to clean it up. Too bad the judicial system is screwed up and these people are right back out on the streets. Thats not the fault of the PD or SO. You people are all the same though. You only call them or want help when you have been screwed over, then want to bad mouth them the rest of the time. I say get a job, get a life, get off the drugs and get new friends. Then you wont have to worry about it.
what is a joke is when you have someone calling 911 so that the police can come and take care of their hellion kids because they dont know how. Sorry ass people. Its a little late when they have been running the streets since they were 5 yrs old.
the real joke is some of the 911 calls that are made. cmon people, DO NOT call 911 to ask for phone numbers, that is what 411 is for. "they charge me for that" you say? did you realize you could go to jail for calling 911 with non-emergency crap? so pay the phone company for the information or go to jail for stupidity. its your choice

I have had to show my license and insurance when going through a road block.....and I am white. Why does everything have to be a white and black issue....Oh, let me guess, your license is suspended and you had no proof of insurance? Or was the car stolen?
