this is a fun animated film. we have a copy of it on dvd. my kids love it.
I think this is a family gathering and I do not think alcohol will be served. Let's hope not anyway. Can we do anything without alcohol being involved?
I guess the city says it is ok to walking around drinking at some events but not others. Sounds like a double standard to me. We only allow drinking when we are trying to impress out of towners.
Lots of cities waive open container laws for special events. Ever heard of Mardi Gras, or St Patricks Day in Savannah? There are numerous events in atlanta and athens where open container laws are waived in certain areas. Quit trying to make a big deal out nothing.
I think its great that the community is doing something to get its citizens out and together.
Would you rather your tax dollars have been spent on Ritz park for it so sit there vacant except for buggy days?
I love to drink more than anyone, but why would you want to go watch an animated movie and drink beer? There is a time and place for everything. How about having a family night once in a while (with out alcohol). This city has several places that are great for drinking (I enjoy all of them). Maybe you should go to one of those places instead of trying to drink around people who are out with their family's.

Will alcohol be provided?

So its BYOB? Thats cool, beer is always cheaper at the gas station anyway.
Also, I've seen this movie before, its WAY better when you're stoned.

10:34 be carefull someone from your church might see you laughing and actualy having a good time, and you know that would be BAAAAAAD
God sees you and knows all and he will be the judge.
So does anyone want to go in on a keg for this thing?
JHOIUBI
Sure! We can get drunk and fight the mexican's.
Lets do it! Nothing like drunken fights against mexicans while watching an animated movie!
He#@ yeah! You bring the beer and I'll bring the mexicans.
I'm curious to see how many people actually show up to this thing with beer looking to fight mexicans...
The next blog post will read "Movies at the Ritz turns into a Drunken Mexican Brawl"
ahh, we gonna play cowboys and mexicans now!
Maybe we should waive drinking and driving laws also. Can you get a DUI while driving a golf cart?
Yeah! We gonna have to do the watermelon crawl.
