Just being neighborly or just a nuisance?
Blowing the car horn as a greeting... Do you do it? Do you avoid it? Think it's just being friendly? Think it's dangerous or annoying?

It's annoying. Almost as much as the dogs next door that bark all night, and the loud music that rattles my windows!
Some people find most anything annoying. What in the heck is so annoying about a toot of the horn and a wave? Lighten up or move to the country and listen to the roosters crow at the crack of dawn.
If somebody honks at me I just spit on them. Then I shave their cat. Then I dropkick their grandma and throw a hairdryer in thier fish tank. Honk On Dat M###er F###er!
I think a honk is not very considerate at all, just think, your on your way just minding your own business and out of no whare HONK, that could give a person a heart attack or something, how selfish it is for people to honk at each other, well unless of course it is directed at a girl wearing a bikini, then its in good taste
thats how i met my first wife. I honked at her when i passed her on the road. She was in a chain gang and couldnt answer back but I did see her smile that toothy grin at me, and i mean that she had only one. Well i held up a liquor store just so i could get close to her for one of them con-jungle visits and 9 months later we got a little boy. It is amazing how things start with a simple honk.
Honking and waving ain't nowhere near as obnoxious as those kids with the bass speakers in their trunk that drive slowly down residential streets. Those damn speakers are so big that they can't fit a spare tire in the trunk, and my Hummel figurines keep vibrating off the mantle!
A honk of the car horn is a lot better than being held up in traffic because someone has to stop in the middle of the street and carry on a conversation. If ya gotta talk that bad find some place to park!!!!

who cares? with all the other crap going on in lamar co your crying about something like this,
a honk & a wave - the reason I like living in the country. If this annoys you, move to the 'burbs.

Don't you realize Barnesville IS the burbs? Good grief. Go sit on the sofa on your front porch and have another Bud.
