The Georgia Forestry Association is collecting much needed supplies for the firefighters combating the wildfires in South Georgia and North Florida. As of 05.17.07 there has been over 288,000 acres burned in GA alone and there are over 1300 firefighters and forestry workers that need your help! We are asking you to help supply them with drinks, snacks, first aid supplies, batteries and other such items. Specific lists for these items can be found on GFA’s website at www.gfagrow.org or at http://www.brighterdayministries.net/12.html. You can drop off supplies at the Georgia Forestry Association located at 551 North Frontage Rd. here in Forsyth. The deadline for dropping off supplies is June 5, 2007.
