according to reports, general protecht, a large chinese industrial firm, has announced plans to invest at least $30 million dollars to construct a manufacturing facility on a 200 acre site in barnesville.
the reports indicated the firm expects to employ 350 people within three years. missy kendrick, executive director of the barnesville-lamar county industrial development authority, declined comment friday.
