gunman was killed but there is no report yet on whether the police killed him or he took the cowardly way out. either way we won't have to feed and defend him at taxpayer expense and hear how his terrible childhood caused him to do this.
students complained they were not notified of the first shooting which occurred two hours before the second rampage.
we have identified a virginia tech student with barnesville connections and hope to hear from that student soon.

In defense of the police, they believed that the first shooting was an isolated incident & that the gunman had left the campus. As an alumni & former resident of the dorm which was shot up, I was surprised with the second shooting myself, as the 2nd building is over a mile from the dorm.
