house rocker has heart attack...

and may not be able to perform....johnson (above) had a heart attack 10 days ago and had stints put in. chest pains returned today.

if he cannot make the trip to barnesville for the blues festival, he will be replaced by eddie tigner, a member of the original ink spots who has toured extensively with elmore james.

frankie moates will play guitars and bring the atlanta horns with him to back up tigner or johnson or both.

You know it's really the blues when the headliner has a heart attack. I smell a new song.

I just saw the HouseRocker on Friday nite 6/8 at Blind Willie's in Atlanta and he did indeed Rock the House.

The back up band The Shadows and, especially their guitarist, were eqaully as good.

Great show!!
