have you changed pet foods...

as a result of the tainted wheat gluten in dog and cat food and dog biscuits?

have you heard of any sick dogs or cats locally?

Ive changed from can to dry. The dry hurts my teeth and is a little harder to sallow but I feel safer eating it. It saves me a few dollars a month so I might can use my air conditioner this summer a little. That depends on tax increases though. The electric companies don't help much either by milking the consumer for all they can get. Guess screwing the working class and retired is a way of life now.

We've cut out the can food that we used to mix with dry Purina One Lamb. Our doggies have stopped rushing to their bowls for dinner; they wait about an hour, then learning that canned is not on their menu, they clean thier bowls. It certainly is easier on us and less costly.

I've always used a local company "Hi Tech Rations" (made in Georgia...I think Dublin) Its for the high performance dogs and I suggest if you care enough to spend the extra money on it, its a good idea. You don't have to worry about foreign countries contaminating your dog's food. It can be purchased in several local areas, the closest to b'ville is in Jackson.

I broke a tooth on that dry stuff so I switched back to the gravy. I check the ingredients to make sure there is no melamine or rat poison in it first. Washed down with a cold beer or a shot it's not too bad.

I quit eating it when I almost got run over one day while I was laying in the drive way licking my butt!

i still use the dry food and i think that it has affected my dogs hearing. he will not come when i call him, he just lays in the same spot all day and night. his hair seems to be falling out and he smells really bad but other than that we are fine. the possums love climbing all over him when the buzzards are not there. I saw a sick looking dog the other day. Someone said it was a Chinese Crested. That dog was sick!!!! Looked like death warmed over.

All joking aside, my cat died sunday from something. It was coughing up blood and struggling to breath. Dont know if it was from the food or if he was poisioned in some other way.

I think the spaying and neutering done in Johnsonville, may help. It is rumored, after they got all the dogs and cats they got most of the men in Johnsonville. And it is rumored they all sing soprano now.
