catch 'happy feet' free friday at ritz park..

This came off of the front of the Barnesville newspaper
Mayor Dewaine Bell’s Movies at the Ritz events will begin this Friday, April 6, at Ritz Park adjacent to the post office in downtown Barnesville. Movies will be screened at the park on the first Friday of every month. Showtime is at sundown - weather permitting. John Bittner is coordinating the screenings for the mayor. Movies will continue on first Fridays through August 3. This week’s feature is Happy Feet. Admission is free.
This is a wonderful idea! I have heard of other towns doing this, and it has been popular. To take place in the location of the old Ritz Theater is a fun idea too.
How many people actually remember The Ritz? Lots of memories there for many of us.
