UPDATE: vaughn's codefendant peggy dorsett has, through her attorney ricky morris, filed for a change of venue. vaughn and the other codefendants have not....if the alleged coconspirators are to be tried together as was the plan, judge wilson has an interesting ruling to make thursday.
by order of judge tommy wilson. no filing had been made as of 2 p.m.
if a motion for change of venue is filed, wilson will hold a hearing on it thursday in monroe county superior court.
rudy's trial is to begin april 30 and is expected to last two weeks.
although i lobbied for a location near the beach, it appears the trial will be held either here or in forsyth.
