a georgia 'g' for a good cause...

devin cato had a georgia 'g' painted on his face this afternoon at the britton cauthen benefit being held at the grove street fire station...fire chief steve andrews said the yard sale sold $650 worth of goods before it even opened officially. crowds have been strong all day.

devin is britton's nephew.

UPDATE: saturday's event raised $6345. this is on top of over $2000 raised the previous weekend at the rinehart archery event.

an account for britton has been opened at united bank. donations can be made at any bank branch.

That "G" looks like a "C" to me. Could it be for Cauthen?
