They need to keep Schaub and get rid of Vick. They won't do any better than last year as long as he thinks the world revolves around him.
Oh Anonymous! Schaub was great, he started two games and lost both.
Atlanta just needs to unload Vick period. The Falcons are unable to make any moves or resign needed players as long as their money is tied up in Michae Vick and this is Arthur Blanks fault.
Great move. They got solid draft picks which is what they need because they have a lot of holes on the team. Schaub isn't doing any good sitting on the bench and he would have walked away anyway after this season.
Vick will be fine under Petrino. He is going to design an offense that will play to his strengths which is the exact opposite of what Mora did.
I don't understand why so many people thought Schaub was the answer. His only started 2 games as a Pro, both of which were losses, his QB rating is lower than Vick's and in college, his record as a starter was 22-17.
The loss of Kerney is going to have a much bigger impact on the Falcons than any offensive player changes.
Mike Vick is not a good QB.You could put him in any system and he will do the same ol' crap. Schaub might have been better if they would have given him more playing time,but thats not what sells the seats in the dome.
Maybe Arthur should have picked one of you to coach. I'll bet though that Arthur's picks have a lot more insight into going into the season and the choices that were made than any of you have. Don't forget you are outside looking in
