$4.6 billion -- no more guessing on how big of a company FlaRock really is anymore. There was never a chance of these guys losing any legal battle.

Vulcan Materials bought Fl Rock, you can bet your sweet ass that hole in the ground will be there real quick, those boys could buy this little boil on the buttocks of the world called lamar co. sell it for nothing and never miss a dime, bring'em on i'v done work for these guys before they dont play, but they darn sure pay gooood!

Vulcan has alot of Quarry's in this state. So the more the merrier, because they will have to make a payback on that 4.6 billion.
Hang on Lamar County the ride is just beginning.

Anony. 3:33 p.m. Why do you even live here in Lamar County when you think the way you do about it?

And since Vulcan pays so gooood, go do some more work for them so you can purchase property elsewhere and move the hell out of Lamar.

Come to think of it.....a boil starts with an infection deep under the skin. Things might clear up around Lamar if "infectious" people like you would just leave!

sounds to me like the person is smart enough not to live there, and they are right about Vulcan, they do pay real good, a lot better than anywhere in that region,i'm very much in favor of the quarry, just look aroud the area they are going to put it,it will only be an improvement

I sure dont think it would be prudent to hire drug users to work in a quarry, where dynamite is used frequently.
However good hard workers, it will be an opportunity.

I agree, they pay well and it is an opportunity for a person to do better in life, and not have to leave the county to do so.
