mccreary election challenge dismissed...
by state supreme court in a unanimous decision. end of the line for this case.
And they let people like both of you vote! You both have no idea what he was attempting to accomplish and what has happened. Rest assured what has just taken place about the elections board had a lot to do with the efforts of Mccreary.

Sorry you are wrong and sorry that you cannot understand what has taken place. mccreary's case may have been dismissed but it had an impact on the changes that have just taken place. ie election board! I'm sure you will want to give credit to your wonder boy, but you would be wrong again. Information leaks that you will never know of and that will never be spoken about but did take place.
Personally, I think many people should be ashamed for the derogatory comments aimed at R. McCreary. Many people were complaining about voting problems. He attempted to tackle the problem and get answers. I think the real question would be WHY the county put all the effort into NOT allowing the arguments to be heard. WHY did the county spend $40,000 of our tax money to keep a lid on it? It seems to me that if there was nothing to hide, any and all questions would have been welcome and would have been answered. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!
Many, if not most of you think all this occurred because he lost his bid for commission chairman. You are wrong. It occurred to identify problems and get them fixed.
I’ll have to admit that I did learn something from all of this. At least I know how much it cost to keep something quite.
democrats are complaining about voting problems, unless they win. if a democrat wins an election they say the public has spoken. if they lose they say the votes werent counted right, or minorities werent allowed to vote, or they sue.
I don't know if you know this or not. In any type of contest, strategy is considered. It's no different in a political race. A democrat may run on a republican ticket or a republican may run on a democratic ticket. So, just because a person runs on a certain ticket doesn't mean anything.
Now you may want to re-think your comments. Not all democrats are democrats, and not all republicans are republicans. That's why it is so important to know the person rather than just voting a ticket. You may have just accused a republican of being a democrat and bad-mouthed us all.
Liberals are what has really got this country in a mess. Of course, that's just my opinion.
I have read all these posts. I wonder, if Mr. McCreary had won his case, what would have happened, since the Supreme Court said they would not change the final election. I personally believe nothing would happen. The county had to spend alot of money to defend itself. That would have happened no matter who was in power, or how much you like or dislike the persons involved. Since the Plaintiff carryed the case further. It appears to me both the plaintiff and the county had to spend alot of money for nothing.

Who is responsible for making the changes to an election board?
What brought about these changes?
Will the election board be better than what we had before?
Gary I think you fail to see the point, being nothing was accomplished, that all you dreamers think will happen. A different approach should be devised that will yield results. I realize reading news magazines is what makes some persons believe they have the answers. I am saying the answers need a different approach in order to get results.
Making a martyr of yourself is a self serving action. It is not ment to help others. I dont agree with the person who this article is about, because in my opinion it describes them.

It cost the county $40K so you would not be allowed to know the problems. I know it will not be admitted to but the actions of Mccreary forced the changes of our voting system. Now, will an election board make a difference? I don't know the answer to that question. Voting irregularities are still under investigation and I'm waiting to see how all of that will be explained away.
11:25 - I'm curious. What do you suppose, labeling me a dreamer, I thought was going to happen?
You say we need a different approach. I'm asking. What do you think we need? You must have an idea or else you wouldn't have presented it in that manner. Your idea may just be the one we need.
12:32 - I do fail to see your point. How does taking action to correct problems make the person a martyr. Could you clarify that comment so that I can understand what you are trying to say? Thanks
