And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?
Well, I don't. I don't care at all.
I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia.
I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his bsp; gurgling slashed throat.
I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.
I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this:

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.
When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.

What irony in American history. During WWII, America rounded up all the Japanese living in the US and put them in fenced-in camps. Now, our enemy is getting national air time and using the liberal media to make us feel sorry for them.
I have two problems with Pam Foster's article. The first being that we are not fighting a war on terror. We are fighting a war on islammic fascist that choose to use terror as a tactic. We can't go hunting for terror in the caves of afgahnistan. We can't round up a bunch of terror and lock it in a prison. We can't bomb terror. Just as we didn't go to war against kamikaze missions during WWII, we aren't at war against terror, today. How does Pamela Foster think we can defeat an enemy that we are scared to name?
Also, the second problem I have is that she makes a comment that we derive our first amendment rights from the Bill of Rights. Though a common misconception today, the constitution, nor the BoR, allows us any rights. The constitution, inclusive of the BoR, is there only to protect those rights that are endowed in us by our creator. Every human on earth has the same rights. However, our founding fathers were insightful enough to protect ours from our government via the Constitution.
Pamela Foster for president. Now that would be a lady I could vote for. If the Muslims were such a peaceful religion why dont you ever hear their clerics denounce terrorism. They either need to get their ass in line with the rest of the world or pay the ultimate sacrifice. Which is what they would do to us if they had the chance.

Just think about all the govt assistance and tax breaks they get. How many americans do you see running all of the stores and hotels? Not many because "they" get the intrest free loans and all of the other perks that allow them the opportunity to own their own business....that is discrimination to me.
I agree with anonymous 1:20 and 8:20. Why do there people get to own 90% of the stores and motels in Lamar county? As a white man, I didnt have a problem with Rudy and his resturant, and I have eaten at the Chinese places in town. I have nothing against Mexicans as they are a hard-working people. But I have never heard the true story of how these other cultures can come to this country and end up owning the whole damn town. They dont spend any more money than they have to here and half of them dont even have the decency to say thank you when you buy something from them. I had to break a dollar the other day because i ran 1 cent over on their gas pumps, which by the way, never seem to stop on an even dollar amount. Its not having to break the dollar that bothers me its the jerk behind the counter asking me for a penny! If he needs it that bad he can have it and I will go to Flash Foods where I can at leastunderstand what the workers there are saying. They already have us at their mercy with oil and gas and if we dont wake up they will pretty soon control the very food we eat. So people like liberleft is why in the years to come should really be happy because these people are gonna control this whole country.
