according to kenny green's account to be published in this week's herald-gazette, heard county tailback dontavious jackson had 41 carries for 405 yards and five touchdowns friday night.
jackson is a 5-11, 195 pound junior.
summers field has a long - and somewhat rich - football legacy but surely that is a stadium record if not a state record.
jackson also played all but one play on defense and returned kicks.
an amazing performance.

just who cares, realy? with everything going on in the world today--and just what the heck is a summers field anyway?
you need a chill pill. if you don't know where summers field is, you are not from here.
He was amazing... But then again, alot of people have put up good numbers against Lamar.
Another season... Another disapointment...
Wait till next year seems to be the LAMAR battle cry, were getting our kids ready for UGA football!
UGA football showed what they are all about Saturday. And yes...just wait till next year. All new QB's have to get broken in. Too bad it didnt happen earlier in the season, but cant complain about thrashing the Tigers!
The quarterbacks are going to get "broke in" this week against Tech. Broke in several places.
